The User Interface
This article will cover the following:
- Tabs and Search
Wizards are used for accomplishing the day-to-day tasks such as adding a new affiliate/source or making a new offer. Wizards will always let you review the information to ensure that the item being built is correct and will never let you submit until all required information is provided. The above screenshot is of the Add a New Source wizard.
Cards are the organizational method in CAKE. Each entity is housed in its own card. There are multiple unique cards including sources, affiliates, offers, contacts and campaigns. The above image is an example of a source card.
Breadcrumbs allow a user to move easily around the system by clicking on a link for a different entity from the current open card. For example, the brand card can easily be accessed directly from the offer card by clicking on the breadcrumbs.
Tabs and Search
Sub Tabs (Left Navigation)
The search engine is one of the most powerful tools in CAKE. The search results will reflect either the name or ID number of the item being searched. Clicking on a specific entity to the left of the results will reveal additional items associated to your search term, such as offers, campaigns, etc.
