Campaign Card > Home Tab

The Home tab on the Campaign card houses 5 sub-tabs:

There are also 3 buttons that house specific features:

Campaign Card > Home Tab > Info Sub-tab

Name: This is where you enter the name for this campaign. This can be changed at any time without interrupting traffic in any way.

Portal Alias: This name will be displayed to affiliates in the Affiliate Portal.

Media Type: This drop-down will contain the Media Type chosen the campaign was originally created.  Depending on your settings, this can be changed by selecting a different Media Type from the drop-down.

Offer Contract: Offer Contracts allow you to create variations to the original offer, while using the same conversion pixel. Depending on your settings, the Offer Contract can be changed at any time. Please review the Offer Contract documentation for more information.

Payout: The payout field defines how much the affiliate is receiving per conversion (or click if the offer is a CPC). This can be changed at any time and will do so in real-time.

Status: The status can be changed at any time. The affiliate's traffic will be redirected if their status changes from Active to Inactive or Pending.

3rd Party Name: Third Party Name allows you to associate a different name to the campaign. This feature is not on by default, and is enabled on an as-needed basis. Please consult your Account Manager for more information on 3rd Party Names.

Notes: Clicking the 'edit notes' hyperlink will direct you to the History tab, where you will be able to add notes to the Campaign card.

Campaign Card > Home Tab > Caps Sub-tab

Pay For Leads: By default this feature is enabled. This allows for conversions to result in the payment to the affiliate and for their conversion pixel to fire. This can be unchecked at any time.

Paid Redirects: By default this feature is enabled. In an offer or vertical redirect situation, CAKE will auto-create a campaign for the affiliate if one does not exist for the offer. If the redirect results in a conversion, the affiliate will receive payment. This can be unchecked at any time.

Expiration Date: Allows a user to set a specific date and time when the campaign will expire. Once the campaign expires, the affiliate's traffic will redirect to the Campaign Redirect, Offer Redirect, Vertical Redirect or Global Redirect, depending on settings in place.

Click Cap: This feature functions the same as the Click Cap on the Offer card. The maximum amount of clicks allowed for this campaign should be added here.

Click Cap Interval: From this drop-down you can select the interval for which the Click Cap should reset: Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Custom.

Send Alert Only (No Redirect): Having this checked will send an email Alert if the Click Cap has been hit but will not redirect traffic. You must be subscribed to the Alert in order to receive the email.

Conversion Cap: This feature functions the same as the Conversion Cap on the Offer card.  The maximum amount of conversions allowed for this campaign should be added here.

Conversion Cap Interval: From this drop-down you can select the interval for which the Conversion Cap should reset: Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Custom.

Send Alert Only (No Redirect): Having this checked will send an email Alert if the Conversion Cap has been hit but will not redirect traffic. You must be subscribed to the Alert in order to receive the email.

Redirect Offer: A Redirect Offer can be set at the campaign-level.  This redirect takes precedence over all other redirects.

Redirect 404: Having this checkbox checked will send traffic to a 404 page when redirected.

Campaign Card > Home Tab > Cookies Sub-tab

Auto Disposition: CAKE will auto-apply the selected disposition to conversions from this campaign  (To be used with Pending Conversions only.)  

Redirect Domain: If you have redirect domains enabled you will be able to choose from them in this drop-down. Please consult your Account Manager for more information on redirect domains.

Disable Upsells: This sets whether this campaign will show upsells on the offer's Thank You page and redirect returning users that have already converted on the offer.

Paid Upsells: When enabled, this allows upsell traffic to result in payment to the affiliate. Note that paid upsells will auto-create campaigns. When disabled, affiliates will not be paid for upsell traffic, therefore not auto-creating campaigns.

Clear Session on Conversion: Having this checkbox checked will clear a user's cookies once they convert, thus allowing them to convert multiple times on this campaign.

Campaign Card > Home Tab > Payouts Sub-tab

The Payouts tab allows you to make scheduled price changes. These scheduled changes will take place at a future date that you select.  

To add a Future Dated Payout:

1. Click the 'Add' button.

2. Choose the Start Date and Start Time for when you would like this change to take place.

3. Set the new payout amount, put in any additional notes regarding why you are making this change and click 'Update'.

Campaign Card > Home Tab > Pixels Sub-tab

Test Link: The Test Link field allows a user to place a specific link that the affiliate has provided for the purpose of testing. The affiliate's test link would override the test link already present on the testing page and will redirect through the CAKE unique link.

Pixel: This is where a user can place the affiliate's conversion pixel. Multiple browser pixels can be placed in this text box. If the SSL checkbox is checked on the Offer card, the pixel must be HTTPS.

Unique Key Hash Type: From this drop-down, please specify the hash type the affiliate is using on Device IDs.

Postback URL: This is where a user can place the affiliate's server-to-server pixel (also known as a Postback URL). Only one URL can be placed in this field.

Postback Delay (ms): Allows a user to specify, in milliseconds, the amount of time to wait after a conversion has taken place before firing the Postback URL.

Clicking on the Generate Link button will allow you to create a unique link for this affiliate's campaign.

The affiliate and campaign will auto-populate. You will want to select the creative you wish to generate a tracking link for.

On step 2, the link will be displayed next to 'Unique Link'. It is composed of your tracking domain, the affiliate's ID, and the creative ID.

Campaign Card > Home Tab > Send Creatives

Campaign card > Home > Send Creatives

Clicking on the Send Creatives button will bring open the Send Creative Pack wizard.

Contact: Select the contact you wish to send the creatives or choose 'All Contacts' to send the creatives to all contacts associated with this affiliate.

Creative Type: Select a specific type of creative or send all creative types (Link, Email, Image or Flash).

Creative: Select the specific creative or choose 'All Creatives' to send every creative associated to this offer.

Once complete, click 'Next' for a summary page, then 'Finish' to send the creatives from th email address configured under Setup > Settings > Email Settings.

Campaign Card > Home Tab > Test Campaign

Campaign card > Home > Test Campaign

Clicking the Test Campaign button will open a new browser window where you can test the campaign to ensure the conversion pixel is placed properly and that CAKE is tracking a click and conversion.

Once the testing interface is open, simply follow the instructions:

1. Clear Cookies - This clears your cookies for this offer and session only and will not clear your computer's cookies

2. Enable Test Mode - This will mark these conversions as test and will zero out any payment associated to the tests.

3. Click on the tracking link - You will then be directed to the landing page, where you will go through all the steps required to complete a conversion.

4. Click See The Results - This will display the click and conversion information, including a date and time stamp for both the click and the conversion. It will also show whether or not the affiliate's pixel fired.

Campaign Card > Events Tab

Events is a feature that is not enabled by default. If enabled, the Events tab will display all events that have been created for the offer. From here, you can make specific edits to the Event for this specific campaign. For a complete overview of how to setup Events, please reference the "How to Track Events" article.

Campaign Card > Exceptions Tab

The Exceptions tab allows you to block sub-affiliates and creatives.

Blocked Sub-affiliates: This widget allows you to either add or remove sub-affiliate IDs. Traffic to the campaign with a value in the s1 parameter of the unique link that matches a value in this widget will redirect to the Global Redirect. To add a blocked sub-affiliate, following the steps below:

1. Click the Add button.

2. Type the sub-affiliate ID. CAKE will show all sub-affiliate IDs listed for the affiliate.

3. Choose the sub-affiliate ID from the list and click 'Update'.

Blocked Creatives: This widget allows a user to either add or remove creatives. Traffic to the campaign with a value in the c parameter of the unique link that matches a value in this widget will redirect to the Global Redirect.

1. Click the 'Add' button to add a new creative to the blocked list.

2. The drop down will contain all creatives specific to the offer for the campaign.

3. Choose the creative from the list and click 'Update'.

Campaign Card > Voucher Codes Tab

This feature is only available to CAKE clients who are leveraging eCommerce license add on.  Please see Voucher Code documentation for more information.

Campaign Card > Documents Tab

The Documents tab allows a user to upload documents specific to this campaign.

To add a document click the 'Upload Document' button then select the type of document you are looking to upload.

Then, click 'Add File' and select the file from your hardrive. Once you have selected your file, click the 'Upload Files' button and then Finish.

Campaign Card > History Tab

The History tab contains an audit trail of all activity pertaining to this campaign. Similar to all History tabs, this section also allows for notes to be saved, which are searchable.
